Sorry I haven't been updating my blog with adventures lately, I have been pretty busy as well as soaking up the last few moments I get to have with Danny and Sam. Today is their last day, and we are all pretty sappy today and it's truly been a wonderful time with them..memories we won't forget. We arrived in Ubud a few days ago and have been swimming everyday, getting massages and eating pizza like it's going out of style. We have been having lots of good laughs and food and beautiful mornings eating breakfast on our patio surrounded by freakin monkeys and beautiful trees and flowers. I'm going to staying put here for a few more days after they leave tomorrow, because A) After figuring my visa situation out I have realized that the extension is only until August 17th.. Which means if I wanted a third extension I would have to leave the country and then come back in again.. Which I can't afford to do so da da daaaaa big news: I am leaving for Austral...

We had two days of total relaxation in the little town of Riung. Spent them on a boat visiting a few of the 17 islands off the pier of the town, we snorkeld, had fresh fish lunches and just layed on the beach trying to go from vanilla to chocolaté. Any bat haters prepare yourself for these pictures.. Our boat captains, Alex on the left and no name because he spoke no English. Ever since I can remember, Sammy so easily sleeps on boats.  Gorgeous. I love when uncle Danny has this look on his face. The colour of the water aaaahhh!!! So clear First thing we saw coming up to the bat island... No name aka bat man.. Really really wish I could upload the video to show you the freaky sound of these things. Sleeping. There wasn't much to t...

This is one of the hardest posts for me to write so far. To put all the stories and emotions and everything i thought and felt today down in text is tricky, but the uniqueness of all of our expirences today is well worth the effort and should be shared. Today was great from the start. Woke up to eating amazing banana pancakes and then we hit the road to go trekking through mountain villages in Bajawa, which is where we are right now on the island of Flores. Danny and Sam and I stopped first to pick up a lunch for later in the day, and met our guide Jeremy, we all clicked right from the start. He got me to drink some natural energy drink off a lady selling them from her bike. It had ginger and tumeric and who knows what else but it worked, I felt like I had a red bull without the gross after taste!  And then we drove to the first of 3 villages (all of which I can no longer remember the names 😔) and Theo, our dear driver dropped us off and we didn't see him aga...
