Falling in love.

Cambodia is stealing my heart, i am truly loving it here. ❤️

We have the best TukTuk guy money can buy named Ciroque (yes like the fancy liqueur by PDiddy.) He is like our Cambodian father, he calls us "his tourists" and tells us all the tips and tricks of the city, he was even our tour guide today at the Angkor Wat temples.

Last night we went to the night market, pub street, had some awesome 1$ street food, met some awesome people, and even got a foot massage and nails done (first foot message and I felt like a princess :p .) the only issue was maybe we shouldn't have had the beers before going, might have made us think we needed to buy more stuff than maybe necessary.
Today we went the Angkor Wat temples.
They were cool, some better than others. We woke up at 4:30 to watch the "great sunrise behind the Angkor wat" aaaaand it really wasn't that great haha the lake we found beside it on the other hand? Breathtaking. And the monkey temple was my favourite. We are going back again to check more of the temples out the day after tomorrow.

I'll post some pictures soon! It's a hassle to get them off my camera and onto my phone, but I promise they are coming :)

Missing family and friends today!

  1. I can feel the transition from tourist to traveller transporting. The great news is that "traveller" doesn't end with the conclusion of a trip but rather is a title you you will maintain and nurture through your life.... Kind of like PHd
So proud of you, I'm making sure the kids are reading the potato! You are setting a wonderful example Hannah
