The new monk on the block

My eyes were wide open the whole day yesterday, we went to the most beautiful temples and even though it didn't sound that appealing we also went to the royal museum and it was actually really great.

There are monks everywhere in Loas, I've never seen one monk in person let
Alone the amount I've seen here, the monk school is on our block so you can imagine the sea of orange clothes and bald heads.

It's crazy hot here and around 2-3pm everybody in town seems to pack up and take a nap, but there is a funny loas saying "the Vietnamese do the work, the Thai harvest the work, and the Loasians watch the work being done." It isn't to say that they are lazy, but they definetly live a very laid-back lifestyle :)

Nighttime is the best time, we went to the famous night market and ate some crazy good food got some drinks and bought probably too much stuff, oh well.
Some of the meat is pretty questionable... Ranging from turtles to
Squirrels and I think moles? Who knows..

We are taking a 5 hour bus trip to Viangvieng this morning 🌞

  1. It's a hard life being a Monk. We had a Thia guide who said he tried it but found the
Lifestyle to difficult . Street food can be tasty as well as a mystery adventure. I got the Runs though.
