Made it to back to Bangkok! Another loooong bus ride to get here. We got the chance to stop in Pnom Pnem for a 6 hour layover. Luckily the bus terminal there has everything you need, like a night market, restaurants, and even a club! I can't pretend I don't hate these buses, I get anxiety whenever I think about them. But they save you a nights money spent on a place to rest your head and usually get you there in one peice. Gotta do what you gotta do.

The mini bus ride to the city was a different story, thanks to the beautiful French man we were sitting beside. He's beautiful did I mention that? We went to Kosane Road together and found a good place to stay, then went shopping and searching for mind blowing Pad Thai (didn't find it.) 

I finally got one of these hair thingys. Been trying to get one for weeks now, I know my family is reading this muttering dirty hippie.

Kyushu, we lava yu.

Like I've mentioned before, we have really tried on this trip to take it easy and not squeeze every last place in. We have visited the main island Honshu, Shikoku, and now Kyushu. Kyushu we decided to go to because it warms up first, and seems to have plenty of off the beaten track spots. Or maybe its off the beaten path in low season time. Either way, often we never saw another obvious tourists and that is always a little cool. We decided that our last two weeks were going to be in cities. So we immersed ourselves in nature. With one day checking out Mount Aso, and active volcano that was actually letting out a dangerous amount of sulphur at the time we visited. So unfortunately,  we couldn't hike it. Since 2009, the town  has just re-opened for the first time in February of this year, so we were thankful for what we got! I have been blown away by the diversity of Japan.
