Ko Phangan

We only spent basically one full day on this island but It was well worth it. I would have to say it was the second best "hotel" we've stayed at which was pleasantly surprising. When we got off the boat to the island instead of getting bombarded by men, who can be seriously pushy, it was all women. And they just chatted with us, helped us find the cheapest spot and we said sure why not and it turned out to be a great choice. It was all little bungalows on a quiet beach, there was tree swings everywhere, a little beach bar, and even a treehouse you could rent out which looked wicked cool. The best part was that it was across from a grocery store, I could spend hours just wandering around Asian grocery stores. It's basically the same at home but of course full of weird and random Asian products. We purchased all our food there, and they had a salad bar yaaaay I was pretty pumped about that, it's hard to find a fresh salad anywhere.

(Stormed every night and was sunny everyday)

The next day we went to the Angthong National Marine Park. It was gooooorgeuuse,  our boat was full of people from all over the world from Switzerland to Egypt, all super nice people to spend the day with! We got to go snorkelling, and climb 500m to the viewpoint of the park

This is the only photo I have on my phone of it I'll have to put more up soon.

And then even though we didn't pay for it our tour guide told us because we were his buddies and could join the kayaking crew, he made my day he never stopped laughing the whole time, I loved that dude. Kayaking through a cave was the best part.

And then the day finishes off at "relaxing beach" where you just swim and hangout and then head back to your island! The tour place was top of the line, we've dealt with some shitty ones and this one was full of people who genuinely cared for your well being and just wanted you to have a good time.

Then after literally a sleepless night for me, (thanks ear infection) we headed out this morning on our mini journey to Malaysia. We've already changed buses three different times, I should pull all nighters every time we have a travel day, the day goes by nice and quick  when you're passed out the entire time.

I got probably my last Thai iced tea of the trip. I love this stuff, I don't know how to describe the taste for you, it's most likely the least healthy tea you could ever get yourself but it's also the most delisicous.

I'm writing this in Goergestown Malaysia. Sitting in a dungy stairwell Waitting for our night bus , blah . Plus we thought there was a McDonald's open but nope it's closed for the night, I hate McDonald's and don't support it but I've never been so sad to not go in my life,
Instead we are fine dining from happy mart..

Our bus gets into Kuala Lumpur at 4 am, might spend half the day sleeping..
