What's up doc 🏧

Well. I'm mad. I have yet another ear infection in the OPPOSITE ear 😑 though the doctor on this island did a heck of a lot more than the one in Sihanoukville. He cleaned out both ears and the amount of gunk that came out was nauseating, meanwhile a girl who was screaming next to me because of a lost toenail was very disracting..

So unfortunately I did not get the chance to go diving in the world renowned waters of Koh Tao.. And probably won't get the chance to until Indonesia, but better to be safe than sorry. I don't feel like spending any more time or money at the doctors office. 

Meanwhile Poor Natalie has a nasty Stomache Infection, she's doing better now but was sleeping non stop for a few days and missed out on a lot of the island fun which suuuucks! So we are basically just a couple of lame-o's and have really just done nothing the last two days and taking it easy and recuperating. 
Making sure we take our drugs at the same time because they are now synchronized and hopefully we'll recover  fast and enjoy our last bit of adventure time together! 

Waitting to get on our boat to get to the next island Koh Phangan now, then next stop is Malaysia to see the city for a few days and take a flight to Indsonesia!

    Crappy on the ear infection ! Is Natalie taking that charcoal I gave you ? It has been a life saver to me in my travels . Did you get a chance to meet dev ? These moments you are experiencing are the building blocks of what kind of person you are growing to be . travel really is the biggest teacher . Drink it up love , fill your cup . Life is truly there for the taking . Xo

Kyushu, we lava yu.

Like I've mentioned before, we have really tried on this trip to take it easy and not squeeze every last place in. We have visited the main island Honshu, Shikoku, and now Kyushu. Kyushu we decided to go to because it warms up first, and seems to have plenty of off the beaten track spots. Or maybe its off the beaten path in low season time. Either way, often we never saw another obvious tourists and that is always a little cool. We decided that our last two weeks were going to be in cities. So we immersed ourselves in nature. With one day checking out Mount Aso, and active volcano that was actually letting out a dangerous amount of sulphur at the time we visited. So unfortunately,  we couldn't hike it. Since 2009, the town  has just re-opened for the first time in February of this year, so we were thankful for what we got! I have been blown away by the diversity of Japan.
