Flores- little.. Italy?

Flores so far, is in one simple word, beautiful. Since the flight was landing on the ground to the very moment everything goes dark, it's been just that,
Beautiful. I went to the airport with the hotel driver and waited for danny and Sam until about 3 am, and when they walked through the doors I was Waitting for fireworks or something of that caliber to happen, I was just that excited to see Uncle Danny and Sammy! (And not just because I was tired and wanted to sleep.) 

Our flight went without any problems thankfully to Flores, and our original hotel was actually super gross, the worst I've seen in the last few months so we moved to a nicer one right beside it, sorry losers. Sammy is constantly talking my ear off and I missed the little guy. He's halarious, always knows how to make me laugh and sweeter than sugar that boy. He's also my original and favourite dive buddy, we went diving today and damn. It was great, I could only do one dive and already bleeding but it was worth it. Saw a shark, turtle, some huge fish that I can't think of their names now. And Sam and Danny did two other dives that sounded awesome, it was a 2 hour boat ride to get to the sites so we spent the day on the boat, full of friendly people and jay dropping scenery! 

I think it's pretty funny but since they've gotten here Danny and Sam haven't had any Insonesian food.. Or any other food really except for Itialian. Because the Italian food places here are off the hook good. Seriously, some of the best pizza I've ever had and I'm basically queen of pizza, or i like to pretend I am anyways. 
Tomorrow the plan is to dive around Komodo island and go to the island its self and see these freaky dragons!

Kyushu, we lava yu.

Like I've mentioned before, we have really tried on this trip to take it easy and not squeeze every last place in. We have visited the main island Honshu, Shikoku, and now Kyushu. Kyushu we decided to go to because it warms up first, and seems to have plenty of off the beaten track spots. Or maybe its off the beaten path in low season time. Either way, often we never saw another obvious tourists and that is always a little cool. We decided that our last two weeks were going to be in cities. So we immersed ourselves in nature. With one day checking out Mount Aso, and active volcano that was actually letting out a dangerous amount of sulphur at the time we visited. So unfortunately,  we couldn't hike it. Since 2009, the town  has just re-opened for the first time in February of this year, so we were thankful for what we got! I have been blown away by the diversity of Japan.
