7 days of Love
Well I have officially been here for 7 days and it feels like 7 years. It's amazing how easily the transition has been really. On my first day off the plane I started working on Jacobs family's farm. For those of you who don't know what the hell I am talking about , I'll start from the beginning, I met Bonnie, Jacob and Marlon when I was living in Fernie and they have been friends forever and grew up together, I met them when they were overseas living in Fernie and we are like family. Now I am living with them in Australia as well as with another boy, yoshi who they also have been friends with forever, and he's a really great guy too (weird as hell name though , am I right? ) Jacobs family has a sprouting farm where they go from planting the sprouts which are mostly sunflowers, to harvesting and preparing and bagging them. All the way to selling them to local businesses and farmers markets. It's a really really beautiful farm, and Bons, Jacob and I are taking it over complety while his family goes to Europe for 6 weeks. It's a huge responsibility and we are going to have to work extremley hard, but I really enjoy it. It feels really good to go from planting the seed to putting the greens into people's hands, and we will also probably be living on and off at the farm which will be b e a uuuutiful.
Really cool candle shop that we went too.
I have one of these now :)
$200 candles... 😳
Nimbin!
Grass but make you feel amazing!
Be an old church and they turned it into a house.
I went on a few adventures this week as well, not all work with no play! We have lots of hangouts and teas on our beautiful little porch, it's actually Cold in Australia right now as its Their winter, but apparently I need to live it up because after next month the heat is unbareable. The homies took me to the magical
Land of Byron Bay, I feel like there is maybe to much hype about it. Yes it's a very contemporary and clean but I tend to like the small towns in the beautiful values full of charm more (she's just a small town giiiiiiiiirrrrrllll). We've gone to Ninbim, the hippie stoner town where Marlon grew up, a few beach towns. And the drives are gorgeous!
The house is easy as Sunday morning,I have even done a little bit of cooking and everybody's really good at sharing and cleaning and I knew it wouldn't be an issue living together, I mean I practically lived at their house in Fernie anyways. I'm really really happy to here, as much as I want to plan lots of adventures in and around Australia, staying in one spot feels pretty dang
Good right now.
