Stars in her hair, sun in her eyes

Today was my first official day of teaching 😬😬 It went a whole lot better than I could have imagined, Tristan was a huge help. I feel like even though he says he's stuck here due to his internship, I can tell that he secretly loves it, and the kids definetly love him too. Today we worked on sentences, like who/what/where/when and so on, as well as healthy and un-healthy foods. The kids didn't pick up on the sentences as much as the food, thanks to a fun hands on game. The children are brilliant.. All of them so accepting and loving I'm so sad I only get a short week with them. And today I had a new class too, computer classes. Tristan made me nervous for it because he said the kids still can't even open Microsoft word after him teaching them for 7 weeks.. But they weren't that bad. It was fun, except for the one cutie who kept writing "Hannah loves Tristan, Tristan loves Hannah, Canada and France forever" on her computer and showing it to us every time..... Girl was basically taunting me that it's never going to happen. (Ha-ha)

Also this morning we went to a cashew factory. Super interesting, I have more respect for cashews then ever before.
Over 500 women hand peeling cashews in nice uniforms, then put into a steaming machine, and roasting and flavours and yum we got to try every kind they sell from chocolate, to seasame, and chili. It's a great organization actually because it employs hundreds of women, provides childcare for their children during work as well (Plus organic weo.) but the bags of 70g of Cashews was 26,000 rupiah.. 2,60 cents. So cheap ahhh.

Views from the factory.

I'm really enjoying most of the volunteers at camp, a lot of them are the same
Age as me or just a bit older. Of course there's always a few duds but overall everybody is pretty cool, and from
All over the world.
