They say it's your birthday??

Yoshi and I just had the best mini vacation that no money could buy. We left Melbourne and headed to a posh beach town named Mornington, and it was a mini off the map paradise. We ended up spending 4 nights here after only planning one. It was just one of those places that has the power to relax you instantaneously, and catches you in its little web of bliss. On that note we really didn't do much other than take long walks on the beach, nap, swim and eat. Life was pretty damn hard as you can see. We also spent Yoshis 22nd birthday on Phillip Island which was a incredibly beautiful spot. Yoshi said it reminded him more of New Zealand than Australia and I can see how that could be true, it was full of rolling colourful hills and Cliff headed sea walls.

Zebra shell I discovered.

The whole beach was lined with yellow sand and these little beach houses. Used by rich people who can't be bothered taking things to and from the beach and have little houses to hold it instead. I'd vacation in one!

Teenagers use them as party platforms instead

My favourite one :) sunflowers 🌻

My photo taking buddy:)

The water was even more gorgeous than some of the places I visited in Asia.

Yoshis new colourful addition. Don't worry family he's not influencing this girl to get more

Our home right on the beach, even came with a mini kitchen of a table and BBQ.

A pit stop at a little boat ramp. Most seagul infested place

Buying the 50mm lens before leaving Vancouver has absaloutley no regrets attached to it at all.

Yoshi also said it was the best birthday to date, thanks to me of course. I got him a present from 8am-8pm and put alarm secretly on his phone so everytime it randomly went off I had a present ready, his favorite being the harmonica and now he has big plans of becoming a blues artist, I'll be sure to alert the media on that one. we also went for a long walk along the sea wall, though it was stormy and the wind was chilling, it was so so worth it. We went and watched the surfers and then went for a birthday skate. Then we finished the day by dining fancy and having the best meal both of us have had to pleasure of eating in a long long while.
After another few days of relaxing we are now back in Melbourne and have been here since 11 o clock and have already been twice to Lentil is Anything. Disclosure: It's a little restaurant chain that lets you pay what you think is resonable, it's 100% Veagen and 100% delicious. Before you think we are ripping them off, I have donated a large sums for all our meals. Then we finally finally finaaaaally hit the promised happy lanes of the great ocean road.

Little puffer fish left on the Jeddi

The most wonderful view from the north end walk of Phillip island.

We tried to get a man to take a nice picture of us but this one turned out the best in the end.

NOPE, not NZ still in Aus

The hill didn't have grass, but succulents. Really different than anything I've seen.

Accidental photos work out sometimes

(See comment above)

The ocean still has yet to cease to amaze me.

Yoshis birthday "I don't want my picture taken" classic smile

My chicken, with artichoke, olives, creamed feta, and more amazing deliciousness packed into one dish.

Yoshis lamb. Nothing to add
