Bonnie&Clyde

I'm writing this one on the road and taking my chances because there's a 50/50 chance that it's going to give me car sickness, and  I'll puke in yoshis beloved x-trail but I like living dangerously . Blueberry picking had its up and downs, like any job. It was fun in the way we worked with the funniest two Japanese men by the names of Ken and Now. They were nothing but happy and a pleasure to pick with, we tried to go out for a beer with them on our last day but Ken had a cold and he said he needed to go to hungry jacks (Australian Burger King) and get a box and go to bed. Of course how can you have a bad day really when you get an endless supply of blueberries to munch on? The downs came in people form, one by the name of Phil. Trying to pick beside somebody who makes comments about how he hates refugees because they take jobs meant for Australians for less pay and basically if your not 100% Australian bred you do not belong in his country, was extremely difficult for ...

I am exhausted, and smelly, and very content! Yoshi and I left Snoozemore behind for th open road, and made it to this little beach town by the name of Corindi, with little to no problems! Our car set up was put to the test along the drive by my first real Australian monsoon, and we passed with flying colours, I was actually pretty impressed seeing as everything on the roof racks are covered with a 3 dollar tarp. Found a prestine camping spot behind a gas station, and whipped up our  first camping meal, vegetable pasta! It was pretty good, and tonight we made some vegetarian burgers, even tastier.  Only bad thing about this place is two nights in a row there's been what Yosh and I call "car guy" just a guy who literally sits in his driving seat and stares straight ahead all night... Creeps me OUT.  Because of the rain we had a late start of our new job on the blueberry farm, thankfully it wasn't too hot of a day and was overcast and had a nice wind rolli...

Well time is tickling slowly as well as too fast all at once. Yoshi and i have an estimated 8 days before we are outta here! I am so excited to start new adventures again, and see Australia of course. I have been getting myself ready the last week, lightly packing, sorting through all i need to bring, i mean not like that's a very hard and lengthy task all i have is a backpack full of things to my name. Yoshi has a bit longer of a list than me, hes been fixing up the x-trail to top condition, selling furniture, quitting jobs and leaving it all behind for the road! The plan as of now is to fruit pick for maybe three months, and save money. We already have a few different positions on various farms, but we are going with the Cherry fruit picking job in a middle of nowhere place that goes by the name of  Hillston. Probably will not be hard to save money as all we would be buying is food and beer, living out of the car and camping is a cheap lifestyle. Then after we have saved up some ...

Wake him up, it's October!

I am sitting myself down and dedicating some time to a much needed blog update.Unfortnetly for me, I have been putting off for so long I don't know exactly where to even begin and currently and probably for another month my life really isn't that thrilling but here's what's going on anyways: It is officially Bonnie's and I last week of Sprouts! Every single week was a different struggle. One week we over watered, the next week it rained so much  that we had to be careful of moulding greens, the next the sprouts over heated and parished. Ladi dee da and etc, It's been a learning process to say the least, but I think we both really enjoyed it, and as i predicted the week Carol gets back we are going to nail it and have a perfect crop. So far our Wednesday crop this week (the one we deliver to the shops) was insanely bountiful and we had 28 kilos, helloooooo sprouts!! 🌱🌱 the market is still my favourite part of the process, but I think Carols costumers are ...
